Apple have just announced iPad 3 at the event being held at San Francisco. The new iPad is powered by A5X dual-core processor with quad-core graphics, we’re not sure about the clock rate yet. It’s got an enhanced Retina display with a resolution of  2048×1536. Another major hardware upgrade to this resolutionary tab is the rear camera – AF enabled 5MP iSight camera which can record videos at 1080p. iPad 3 also has a Wi-Fi+4Gvariant which will be available in US from AT&T and Verizon on their 4G LTE networks.
Apple iPad 3 will feature iOS 5.1, the update has been announced and released today. Wi-Fi only models will cost $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB. Wi-Fi+4G models that will be sold via US carriers AT&T and Verizon will be be priced at $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB. Other than US, the world will get iPad 3 Wi-Fi+3G variant (instead of Wi-Fi+4G) at retails.
Pre-booking have already begun. The tablet will ship worldwide to many countries on 16th March. But iPad 3 won’t arrive in India and at some more countries on the same day.
